Why Won't Microsoft Bootcamp Work On Mac Drive
Sep 23, 2009 Going by the forum, the ODDSATA ports (ports 5 & 6 under the fan assy) seemed to only work with the AHCI drivers. Never quite understood why, but figure there's something different in the firmware between those pair and those attached via the MiniSAS cable (ports 1 - 4) that Windows wouldn't see them until the drivers were loaded. Boot Camp 5.1 includes several Mac drivers so that Windows will recognize your trackpad, Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, the iSight (or FaceTime) camera, the Eject key on the Mac keyboard, networking, audio, graphics, and so on. A Boot Camp Control Panel for Windows and an Apple Boot Camp system-tray item will be added. I use Microsoft office in both macOS and windows (bootcamp) in my iMac and I have been using MS office for many years in windows PCs until I made the switch. I don’t see any differences comparing it with my old windows machine. Try the macOS version before bootcamping your Mac and you may be pleasantly surprised. Mar 24, 2020 Follow these steps if your mouse, keyboard, or trackpad isn't recognized by your Mac. Make sure that your wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad is turned on The Magic Mouse and Magic Mouse 2 have a slide switch on the bottom of the device. In Windows on your Mac, click in the right side of the taskbar, click the Boot Camp icon, then choose Boot Camp Control Panel. If a User Account Control dialog appears, click Yes. Select the startup disk that has the default operating system you want to use. If you want to start up using the default operating system now, click Restart. Aug 14, 2018 The computer subsequently will not boot into MacOS or Windows. I use the Cmd-R command and go to disk utility where I erase the bootcamp partition, then restore from my Time Machine backup, at a loss of 4 hours of time for the restore process to complete.
